1. Take us out of Egypt
Free us from Slavery
Bake us some matzot in a haste
Don’t worry about flavor
Give no thought to taste.
Oh, it’s rush, rush, rush to the Reed Sea,
If we don’t cross it’s a shame!
It’s ten plagues down and you’re out,
At the Pesach history game!
(Insert at beginning of the Seder to the tune of “Take Me Out To The Ball
Game.”)
2. Am Yisrael Chai (6)
Od Avinu (3) Chai [3]
Od Avinu Chai
The People Israel lives. Our ancestors belief is ours!
(Insert after hiding the “Afikoman”)
3. Ah-va-dim- ha-yi-nu ha-yi-nu
Ah-tah b’nei cho-rin b’nei chorin
We were slaves; now we are free
(Insert after “Ha lachma” describing the Matzah plate)
4. When Israel was in Egypt’s land
Let my people go!
Oppressed so hard they could not stand
Let my people go!
Go down Moses, way down in Egypt’s land
Tell old Pharaoh: Let my people go!
(Insert just before the ten plagues)
5. Lo yisa goi el goi cheh-rev
Lo yil-m’du od mil-cha-ma
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation.
Neither shall they learn war anymore.
(Insert before the 4th cup of wine blessing.)
